Marylaine Block speaking at Internet Librarians Conference

Since I left St. Ambrose University I've been publishing two e-zines for librarians, speaking at conferences, writing for both library publications and general interest magazines, and writing trade books for librarians. Best Information on the Net (BIOTN), which I created for St. Ambrose University in 1995, is now maintained by my former colleagues, but I took with me the parts of it where my personality leaked through, BookBytes and Neat New Stuff I Found on the Net This Week. You'll find them here, along with complete archives of all my other work.

Graphics credits: the ExLibris caricature of me in front of the computer is courtesy of Chris Hiers, the graphic artist who illustrated all the columns I wrote for Fox News Online, 1998-2000. The dragon is by my brother, Gordon Bagby. The bookworm is by Prof. Les Bell of St. Ambrose University. The bookcat I did myself, and is a fairly faithful replica of my late lamented Nickaninny in her favorite pose.
